Tottenville Picks: Open City by Teju Cole

A few weeks ago Open City showed up at our doorstep and we just couldn’t put it down. If there’s been any hype around this debut novel, it’s not enough. Teju Cole is the real thing. A bold, wanderlust, New York novel that will make you see this city as if you just arrived.

See the solid review by James Wood sometime back in the New Yorker here. Mr. Wood might start off by biting the hand that feeds him, but otherwise he’s just as smitten with Cole as we are.
